浅草を中心に活動する和太鼓団体
㈱宮本卯之助商店製造の和太鼓にこだわり、Made in Asakusaをモットーに
浅草の良さや風景を楽曲にのせて世界に広める活動をしている。
仲見世を通って雷門から昇竜する様子を表し、寅年に作調した「龍虎の舞」
樹齢８００年を超える銀杏の樹から見た浅草を表現した「浅草樹～江戸ッ鼓」
祭りの神様に対して感謝の太鼓を届ける「祭神」
参拝者を表現した「祀囃」など
伝統和太鼓本来の「祈り」「願い」「想い」を大切に
「和」の心を後世に伝える活動をしている。
Taiko Drumming Group Asakusa Taikoban (Taito Ward, Asakusa)
A taiko group based in Asakusa, we take great pride in our Miyamoto Unosuke made drums.
With “made in Asakusa” as our motto, we hope to convey the city’s charm and appeal to the rest of the world through music.
“Ryuko no Mai,” written in the year of the Tiger, depicts a dragon passing through a market and rising up from Kaminarimon to the sky.
“Sensoju~Edokko” shows its audience the view of Asakusa from an 800 year old gingko tree at Sensoji.
“Saijin” is an offering of thanks to the god of festivals.
“Matsuribayashi” is expressing worshippers.
Treasuring the prayer, hope, and thought embedded in traditional Japanese taiko, we perform with the hope of conveying the spirit of Japanese culture to future generations.
